MAC Fabulousness Warm Eye Palette Holiday 2012

The Holidays are right around the corner which means limited edition holiday kits are hitting the shelves everywhere. This time of the year MAC releases eyeshadow palettes, face palettes, pigment sets, lipgloss sets, and brush kits that are especially made to be perfect holiday gifts(pro discounts cannot be used towards the holiday collection sets). I usually get really excited for MAC's holiday collection because overall the sets can be very good deals. MAC also hit a home run with the packaging, it is super cute and everything I could ask for. I have a HUGE obsession with bows and I nearly fainted when I saw the promo pictures online. As a makeupholic I knew I had to at least own one item from the collection simply because of the packaging. Besides the packaging all of the sets are very well put together.

MAC Fabulousness Warm Eye Palette retails for $39.50 and contains five eyeshadows(All part of the permanent collection).  I decided to purchase the Warm Eyes palette because I knew I would get the most use out of it all year round. This was also the palette that had the most color pigmentation out of all three holiday palettes. Even though the eyeshadows in this collection are permanent, I don't own any of the shades in this palette which is strange because they are very pretty colors. As I mentioned, the color payoff is decent and all the eyeshadows are easy to use with very little fall out. Most of the eyeshadows in this palette have shimmer and I can see them being great highlighters for the brow bone, inner corner, or even pretty lid colors. I can see myself using this palette to create numerous smokey eye looks and I will be sure to share pictures when I do.

Additional pictures and swatches ahead....

  3. I would love for you to do an eye look with this palette. I actually didn't get anything from this collection because I was too obsessed with the Glamour Daze products that came out.
