Getting ready in 20 minutes

I'm one of those girls that hates leaving the house not looking put together. I also happen to have a boyfriend that tells me to be ready in an hour and then calls me 15 minutes later asking if I'm ready. *woosah* Well I had one of these moments on Friday. I had just gotten out the shower and he calls to say that we are going out to dinner with his family in 20 minutes(!!!!).  There I am panicking because I had wet hair, no makeup, and absolutely no idea of what I was going to wear.  *woosah x2*

Hair

I  knew that I didn't have any time to do my usual hair routine so I just grabbed my hair up in a high bun and sprayed some hair spray.  I never ever wear my hair up like this but I realized that it didn't look that bad. I felt a little Kourtney Kardashian'ish haha :)

Makeup

My daily makeup routine takes me about 20-25 minutes but if I'm in a hurry I'm pretty good at "slapping" my makeup on. Since I was in a hurry I used my fingers to apply my foundation and my under eye concealer. I then used Too Faced Brow envy kit to quickly fill in my brows. To start off with my eye makeup I used UDPP in Eden which leaves behind a light yellow base similar to MAC Soft Ochre Paint pot. I then applied MAC Handwritten eyeshadow in the crease(MAC  224 brush), MAC Soft Brown eyeshadow to blend(same MAC 224 brush), and MAC Phloof eyeshadow in the inner corners of my eyes(MAC 228 brush). I skipped applying eyeshadow to my lids and brow bone which saved me some time too. All I had to do from that point was liner, mascara,  and blush.

Outfit

While I applying my makeup I was also thinking about what I wanted to wear so this part was pretty easy. I picked out my light pink blazer from Forever 21, black jeggings, beige heels, and my LV Speedy 35 damier azur.

End of story

Yay, I beat the clock and ended up getting ready in about 22 minutes. Not bad right? I even had time to take a few pictures with my web camera before running out the door.  It also gave me a chance to realize that I waste a lot of time getting ready everyday when I can do this in 20 minutes. Yay,  Jo! :)

Love the look, as always :) I have the SAME problem with my bf too, he's always calling and asking me to "start getting ready" and next thing I know 5 mins have passed and he's already hovering around asking if I'm done...ahh!!! So I've also realized that sometimes quick & classic is the way to go....love your blog and thank you SO much for following mine!
