A Tartan Tale: MAC Smoky Thrillseekers Pigments/Glitter Set

Naked, Jigs & Jive, Reflects Blackened Red, Blue Brown, and Dark Soul

I managed to skip the first part of the MAC A Tartan Tale collection. Personally I am not a fan of any of the face kits or eyeshadow palettes that they released for the holiday collection(last years holiday set were way better imo). The pigments/glitter sets are the only items that are worth every penny.

Each pigment/glitter set includes four pigments and one glitter. The five glass vials come placed inside a tartan-decorated metal tin with a plastic insert that keeps them standing together.

Swatches from Left to Right
Naked is a soft peach beige with soft gold sheen (permanent)
Jigs & Jive is a softened tan brown with a champagne sheen (limited edition)
Reflects Blackened Red is a darkened red-burgundy base with flecks of burgundy glitter (permanent)
Blue Brown is a medium-dark brown with a duo chrome teal reflective base (permanent)
Dark Soul is a charcoal gray with silver sheen and flecks of glitter (permanent)

I am in love with this pigment set!♥  I am trying to stop myself from going back to get the other two. Agh! no more makeup for Jo.

What did everyone else get? any pigment sets?

  3. I already have three of the pigments from that set, so I didn't get it. I don't care so much for the others.
